Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right hand, he wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His black hair is smooth and relatively long. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: Thamuz is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is a great chef.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His divine abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty brown coat over it. His moppish auburn hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Description: An older woman who wears well tailored gowns and hats with beautiful decoration. She is almost always dressed for an outing in high society, she is not a threatening figure. She wears a small hat to hide her balding. She is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She is harsh and unforgiving.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Merchant arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A gifted student she started as a Fletcher, but she got bored and became a Merchant. She has worked as a Merchant like her father before her.

Motivation: To protect her home; and to clean up the streets

Description: This woman is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. She is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. Her chestnut hair is well kept. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with poetry. She constantly tries to fill her life with poetry. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Balifra was born on a far northern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Fisher. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and she wants revenge against dire rats
