History: Gorbundus was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.
