History: He was born in the east. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered north to less war torn lands. After a long history of fighting, Brakka and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Kali was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
