Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Born to a Courier, his father struggled to pay the bills. Kilvar was born on a far western mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Bookbinder. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Caeldrim was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Courier. He now mingles about in high society.

His gold eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Mehen was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
