History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Raymond is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered dancing. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Miner for hire.

He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: Born to a Mason, his father struggled to pay the bills. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and to be a mason again
