Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She is a Mortician first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She is an amazing painter.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 13 years.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of goblins may trigger it at times.

History: Gifted from a young age, Engong studied abroad. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is her passion
