History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She took after her mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her mother taught her to defend herself. When her mother died while fighting illithids, the young Dara began to lead the lost caravan. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: Ranala is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Tabaxi activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tabaxi doctor. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
