History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Barbena's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Barbena hails from a village terrorized by drow. Barbena was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Barbena decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
