History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Bryseis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Direcris embodies much of what other species detest in the Dragonborns. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Direcris was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Mortician for the past few years.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: This malnourished woman wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. Her white hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She considers herself the perfect lady. She makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.
