Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His blonde hair is braided into rings. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his blue eyes.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Zâthra fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Ruler.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and seeks redemption

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: This younger middle-aged woman dresses in blue turtlenecks beneath a black coat with green slacks, and a wedding ring on her right hand. Her black hair is still thick. Her brown eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes illithids are coming to abduct people. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge
