Description: This western woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She has a large black mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into her grey robe. She has styled her blue crest well, parting it to the right. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady gold eyes.
Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.
History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and she is unsatisfied with her job

Description: She tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look. Her attire stands in sharp contrast to her morningstar, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a butterfly on it. Her long white hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. Her blue eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.
Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.
History: She was born in the south. A gifted student she started as a Cartwright, but she got bored and became a Courier. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Courier for hire.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and to reunite with her absent father

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears tattered old clothes. His chestnut hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His face is scarred and worn.
Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.
History: Nazdûg lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He is physically well-built. He wears a broad hat to hide his balding. His gray eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.
History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Diggory grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Diggory. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal.
