History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. A freak accident while working with his Map Maker father left him crippled. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Half-Elven culture. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His first spouse was a Actor, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Bertram was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.

Motivation: A deep hatred of drow; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it

Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
