History: Korfel was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Commoner, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Commoner in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He has never given up on his painting dream.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. When Fonkin reached his early adolescence his Gnome father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
