History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Miner. Some 2 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Sun never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A gifted student he started as a Bookbinder, but he got bored and became a Armorer. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Tiefling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tiefling doctor. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
