Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears a tight fitting violet shirt and pants. His moppish silver hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His half smiles and gray eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Gardener born in the past three hundred years. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 4 years.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: He is an average looking eastern male in his early mid-life. He wears suspenders and red workpants. His shirt is black, and he wears a heavy red leather apron most of the time. He sports a long chestnut beard, and similarly colored long hair. This amber eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Halander embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Tabaxi artifacts is his passion; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Elves. His skin is dark but he possesses many tan ritualistic tattoos. He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He sports a long brown beard, and similarly colored long hair. He has gleaming, smiling blue eyes.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Immeral was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His first spouse was a Stylist, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Description: A thin woman, she clearly needs to put on some weight, but she still has a lot of muscle. She wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath her coat. Her black hair is well kept. She wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with painting. She constantly tries to fill her life with painting. Sarah enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it
