Description: 5'7" and muscular, this western man wears suspenders and green workpants. His shirt is tan, and he wears a heavy green leather apron most of the time. He sports a flattop hair cut. His eyes are likewise red. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying west to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Damaia lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When Damaia reached her early adolescence her Tiefling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She became a Mason soon after.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. The war was a terrible time for him, and Aldous does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: Elegant wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it.
