History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Pikar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered music. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Shanairla is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.
