Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'0" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears dull yellow sweaters, loose grey pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed falchion, just in case. His hair is red and curly. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: The child of a Mayor, who enjoyed hunting, Heward was taken on many hunting expeditions. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: A middle-aged woman, she prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. She carries her fan with her everywhere and carries herself as the perfect lady, and is pretty ugly. Her head has been shaved. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She is stubborn though. She always likes to keep a trick up her sleeve. She likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if she feels she even has a chance of losing.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Miner arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Callie fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his longsword with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt, and a wedding ring on his right hand. He has styled his silver hair well, parting it to the right. His eyes are silver and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Melech grew up listening to his father's many stories. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. A gifted student he started as a Miner, but he got bored and became a Shepherd. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing his hectic life and new shepherd responsibilities is difficult
