Personality: Qualen wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Cleric, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and obtaining odd cultural elven artifacts is his passion

History: Kathra was born with her father's beautiful face. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac.

His father taught him the rudiments of the Tailor arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
