Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Bernard was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Farmer they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Ruler, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and regain custody of his daughter

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Prosperine alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is a Miner first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Umpen was born with his mother's beautiful face. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Miner work with an outfit from a few towns over. Miner work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Miner for the past few years.
