History: Born to a Carpenter, his father struggled to pay the bills. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions
