Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Volen was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: Many giants want her driven away; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

Description: He wears a fancy green suit, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'6" when asserting himself. His crest is white and curly. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Mreksh will drive conversation. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Mreksh fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Uadjit was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: She is a hateful person. She taunts others and blames them for her problems. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Cecily was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and her religion dominates her actions
