Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the east. After coming to the age of reason, Varis took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: She got into the Body Guard business at a young age. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She has achieved small success as a Body Guard.

Description: A woman with a friendly, welcoming air about her, she wears blue robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally she wears more armor. She prefers to carry a bow, but if one is not available she will default to her hammer. Her white hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a broad hat. Her gray eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Ellywick was born with her mother's beautiful face. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ellywick grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ellywick. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
