Personality: Volen is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and she feels kind of lost in life

Description: He prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. His chestnut hair is still thick. His gold eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and to share knowledge with the world

Description: She is lean but muscular and has the majority of her body covered in plate. Her hair is cut close to her head. Her eyes are likewise brown. Her teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. Ahinar is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: To unite with her brother.
