History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Veloptima alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by goblins. Veloptima was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the goblins.

He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. After a long history of fighting, Gardain and his spouse have recently divorced.
