History: Uthemar was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She now mingles about in high society.
