History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. At a young age her father died while driving off some giants. Her mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in bastard sword use. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Thorin lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: She was born at the edge of vast mountains. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She wants revenge against goblins; and someone believes her a fraud
