Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He comes from a rich western family. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. After a long history of fighting, Pelaios and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: Born to a Unemployed, his mother struggled to pay the bills. A gifted student he started as a Unemployed, but he got bored and became a Performer. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: Gifted from a young age, Philomena studied abroad. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
