History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Description: This northern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. Her hair is long and brown with streaks of black, and is pulled back with small brown clips. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Bookbinder who has hired her part-time. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the north.

Description: He very much looks the part of a Sage. He carries a battered bastard sword and tarnished glaive as well. His gold crest is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are red.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has worked as a Sage like his father before him.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and balancing his hectic life and new sage responsibilities is difficult

Description: She dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. She carries a battered greatsword and tarnished kukri as well. Her hair is cut close to her head. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Helgret has worked very hard to control her curse. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Helgret fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and she is content
