Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Flask embodies much of what other species detest in the Tabaxis. The war was a terrible time for her, and Flask does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. After a long history of fighting, Flask and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He is typically in his Dilettante uniform. His green crest is knotted and matted. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Dilettante work with an outfit from a few towns over. Dilettante work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

Sporting a brown mohawk this woman's hair draws a lot of attention. Her violet eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her father.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.

Description: This late middle aged man is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times and is in decent physical shape. He has done his best to style his chestnut hair to look like a famous performer. His green eyes peer out from beneath his feathered yellow hat.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting dire rats, the young Don began to lead the lost caravan. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
