History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Ortegar has worked very hard to control his curse. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Carter arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart.
