He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Dilettante for the past few years.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he wants to get laid

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is his passion
