History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. Through the years after Puyet was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Puyet's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Ridaro was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Ruler. She became a Ruler soon after.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Born in the east to a Priest, Emeny learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 14 years.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. His moppish auburn hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
