Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears black robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a shortbow, but if one is not available he will default to his quarterstaff. His scarlet crest is still thick. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his flail, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a rose on it. His red hair and beard is wavy and long. He has a dull look in his amber eyes.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Born in the east to a Sage, Roland learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Roland took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up flail and armor he uses now. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average woman, she is not imposing. She typically wears black cloth garments or leather armor. She wears her blonde hair up in a very large beehive style do. Her violet unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day.

Description: A stocky darker skinned woman, she wears long strands of sapphire and short brown dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. She sports blonde long hair. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. A friendly and beautiful Human, she is rarely seen without a few beauties around her arms. Though a playboy in all rights, she is no lame duck.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Joan was orphaned to a temple shortly after her birth. She was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above herself and to hold her god always in her heart. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs.
