History: Born in the north to a Cartwright, Uthemar learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. After a long history of fighting, Uthemar and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Jacoba is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was raised in a forest tribe. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She bought a axe and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting goblins, the young Korfel began to lead the lost caravan. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
