Description: This eastern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. She carries her fan with her everywhere and carries herself as the perfect lady. Her moppish auburn hair is in a traditional bowl cut. Her eyes are gray and catlike.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She is stubborn though. She always likes to keep a trick up her sleeve. She likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if she feels she even has a chance of losing.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her father. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. Being a Bookbinder kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

Description: He stands about 4'2" and wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. His right leg appears badly burned and disfigured. His red hair is smooth and relatively long. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Laborer arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and wants to work out more often

Description: He wears a tight fitting tan shirt and pants. His white hair is singed and shortened. His violet eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Peren was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things.
