History: Althaea hails from a village terrorized by orcs. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 19. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His first spouse was a Stylist, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Volen has worked very hard to control her curse. After a long history of fighting, Volen and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and she desires power and/or immortality
