History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. Her parents enrolled her in a Monk school at a young age so that she could practice her necromantic talents. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Merla was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Aristocrat, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Aristocrat in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
