History: Dûsh was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bookbinder. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Mayor who has hired her part-time. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the south. Her parents enrolled her in a Commoner school at a young age so that she could practice her necromantic talents. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying brother.

Description: He has a missing right arm. He wears a tattered pair of loose tan pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. His tied-back hair is auburn. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Kellen was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: She is an attractive woman, lean and moderately muscular. She dresses like a well dressed Bookbinder does. Her hair is black and curly. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A gifted student she started as a Miner, but she got bored and became a Bookbinder. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
