History: He got into the Butcher business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Butcher. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Jaxi is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Bricklayer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. The war was a terrible time for him, and Rathkran does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him.
