History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. In her 19th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. After a long history of fighting, Darrak and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Architect they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Gardener, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Spy. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is her passion
