Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has worked as a Unemployed like her father before her.

Motivation: To be a Navigator again; and an old rival family wants her found

Description: This fat southern woman has a bulbous nose and tends to wear a tan poncho over her likewise colored trousers and shirt. Her skin is also unnaturally pale. Her hair is short and golden. Her hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. When Rinn reached her early adolescence her Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
