Merla TellPenny, Female Halfling [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: She is an attractive woman, lean and moderately muscular. She wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. Her silver hair is wavy and long. She wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Merla was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She found a children's book about a Halfling Aristocrat who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personal [hide]

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: Born in the north to a Fisher, Shamash learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Shamash liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well.
