History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Pearl was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Knight but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and to get a good night's sleep

Description: This tall, slender woman typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep violet leather and dull grey iron scale mail. With wild white hair. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. The war was a terrible time for her, and Althaea does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Althaea was born on a far northern forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Barber. After a long history of fighting, Althaea and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: She has a large grey mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into her blue robe. She carries with her a set of nunchakus, each one with a opal on the hilt. She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. Her golden hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. She is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: Eldeth hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: Many dire rats want her driven away; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it
