History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and wishes to resurrect an old love
