He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born into a rich family. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Doctor profession.

History: Roland hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Barrister for the past few years.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and many brigands want him driven away

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She was granted psionic powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: She feels threatened by others; and she is terrified, and will act out of fear
