History: Raiann lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Laborer they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Engraver, and she later adopted a second son.

This amber eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, he put together a working one.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Carter born in the past three hundred years. Damaia is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found.

Description: This younger middle-aged woman wears a fancy black dress, and a wedding ring on her right hand. She wears a broad hat to hide her balding. She has silver eyes and a black hat with a yellow feather.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
