Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: She is a Doctor first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She is stubborn though. She always likes to keep a trick up her sleeve. She likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if she feels she even has a chance of losing.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. While she appears to be a normal Human, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal.
