His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Gerard is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
