History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

History: Lia was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Spice Merchant. She tends to her Spice Merchant job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature crossbow.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and obtaining odd cultural gnomish artifacts is his passion
